About The Arc Allegany-Steuben

At The Arc Allegany-Steuben we provide a variety of services for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families in Steuben and Allegany County. Our mission is to support and respect people’s choices on their journey to independence. We make certain the people we support have greater control over their personal well-being by ensuring they live in a safe home, participate in the community, develop meaningful relationships, engage in activities for personal growth, and maintain good health. The Arc of Steuben Foundation provides financial assistance to people supported in Steuben County when other funding avenues have been exhausted or refuse to assist an individual (i.e. new wheelchair, specialty shoes, sensory equipment, etc.) The Foundation also finances Green Machine Athletic teams by purchasing uniforms, equipment, and providing travel to competitions.
